Girl Manipulator, is a show about trying to be ‘That Girl’, with green juices and attempts to wake up early. This show is about day-old tea, creaky wooden floors, and books that smell. It is about dreaming of making bread in your college dorm room, long walks by the frosted bay, and quiet moments with yourself curled under heaps of blankets. This show is for the girls who want to try to be everything and anything to please everyone but herself. This show is a love letter I created for my younger self when she wanted to try new things. And this is a show for people that hide behind the phrase “girlboss, gaslight, gatekeep”.
